Summary

Program Manager Santa Clarita Valley What We Are Looking For A collaborative Program Manager with experience working with the special needs population either personally or professionally for minimum two (2) years, and professional experience managing staff in an ABA setting. Someone with a passion for helping to teach individuals living with autism or other intellectual disabilities how to talk, play, make friends and function independently. Available to work full-time 8:00am-5:00pm M-F; Saturdays as needed to respond to client needs, handle urgent matters in the field and attend training sessions, and available to work as early as 6am and as late as 9pm as needed to respond to client needs or handle urgent matters in the field. Who You Are An enthusiastic team player, self-starter, well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. You are able to operate in a deadline-driven and collaborative environment. What Youll Be Doing Working with children, youth, and adults (clients) with autism or other behavior disorders along with their families and caregivers, in-home or in-school, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Assessing and determining skill deficits and behavior excesses in order to design, develop and implement behavior intervention therapy programs Supervising, mentoring and training behavior technician staff Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA) Creating and implementing behavioral and educational methods and materials to increase skills (e.g., DTT, token economy, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), task analysis) Providing on-going training and education to caregivers Watching your clients make progress as a result of your teams efforts
