Job Description

As Program Manager, Assessment Services & Support Operations at Success Academy you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to create world-class public schools. Reporting directly to the Leader of Academic Operations you will be a network employee who spends your time between network and schools to:

  • Enhance the skills and expertise of our school-based Assessment Team members
  • Ensure adults are measured accurately on content and scholar evaluation via adult assessment administrations. The Program Manager, Assessment Services & Support Operations will provide targeted training and support to ensure excellence in getting the work done, and ultimately, in achieving outcomes for our scholars.
  • Support other non-core academic services such as keeping our science labs up to standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and executing multiple, complex project planning efforts; partnering with key stakeholders and driving end-to-end planning projects; providing recommendations steeped in internal and external data
  • Ensure efficient and optimal Assessment Team Performance:
    • Project Management of Team Development: Strategically manage hiring, seamless onboarding, and the provision of targeted training and professional development to build a high-performing team.
    • Strategic Performance Management and Collaboration: Implement scalable professional development, consult with school and network leaders on performance, and provide input on reviews and staffing to maximize team effectiveness and foster continuous improvement and talent multiplication.
  • Serving as project manager for Adult Assessments (logistics and administration). This will include:
    • Planning current and future state of administration
    • Ensuring that Assessment Teams understand and effectively execute all aspects of administering exams
    • Liaising with network and school teams to ensure school staff have comprehensive information and easy-to-follow guidance to execute exams with integrity and fidelity
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of professional experience, including project management experience

Required Traits And Competencies

  • Is skilled in designing and implementing scalable tracking and reporting systems
  • Has experience managing projects that involve cross-functional departments
  • Is proficient in writing error-free reports and can comfortably present program updates to C-suite executives
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Is highly organized with proven ability to oversee multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are consistently met;
  • Fluency in MS Excel, and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Independently and successfully manages people and projects, including through ambiguity
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceedingly strong work ethic and grit, self-starter attitude
  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven, joyful environment

Compensation Range

: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00
