Summary

Designation: Business Development Manager

Experience: 7-15 years

Location: West Africa

Budget: As per Market standards


Note:

  • Proficiency in French language is a must.
  • Must have experience in the Healthcare domain


We are looking for a seasoned professional, who has worked in the region, and knows the government and non-government stakeholders, to unlock the TB screening market for our company.


  • Identify and map key stakeholders in the various govt teams/ NGOs/ private companies who have potential to buy/ influence healthcare AI spend
  • Engage and create deep relationships with key decision makers and influencers, to develop strong brand awareness and credibility for our company.
  • Identify and create new sales opportunities in Africa (including Francophone Africa) (starting with TB screening, and then expanding to other disease areas covered by Us)
  • Strong executive presence to represent us at the highest govt offices, at the same time engage with people to get things moving on ground
  • Strong relationship management skills; and ability to work cross functionally


What does success look like:

  • Growing our TB business (sales) in the region
  • Based on the success in TB, grow the companies presence in public health overall in the region (cancers, NCDs etc)
  • Establishing us as a strong AI thought leader and co-creator with govt stakeholders.
  • Based on success in region, support business growth in Africa


Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English and French (Other languages are a plus)
  • Experience in direct selling
  • Greater than 3 Years experience in working in healthcare, in Africa
  • Experience in public health (Tuberculosis/ HIV/ Malaria, NCDs, maternal etc) is a great asset
  • Self-starter and hunger to grow
