Summary

Job Title: Program Manager Job Description Join our team as a Program Manager, where you will manage utility construction projects, including transmission, substation, and overhead/underground low voltage distribution projects. Work primarily from our Oxford office with occasional site visits. Responsibilities * Manage a portfolio of utility construction projects at various stages of development or completion. * Allocate resources, schedule tasks, and mitigate risks effectively. * Oversee accounting, project cost reporting, customer billing, and budgeting. * Procure materials and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project success. * Track and analyze key performance and financial metrics. * Prepare proposals and establish job structures from start to finish, focusing on safety, scheduling, and cost management. * Build strong relationships with utility companies, local governments, and stakeholders. * Supervise installation and commissioning of low-voltage distribution systems. * Conduct feasibility studies, design evaluations, and risk assessments for electric distribution expansions. * Monitor project financials and negotiate contracts to stay within budget. * Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership using MS Project and Ecosys software. * Utilize project metrics and performance reports to make data-driven decisions. Essential Skills * 3-4 years of experience in program or project management related to utility or power work. * Experience in construction management for utility projects such as substation work, natural gas, and electrical distribution. * Strong document control skills from initial design to project closure. * Proficiency in MS Project for tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager in construction projects. * Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. Work Environment This role involves a combination of office work and field site visits, requiring occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions. You will frequently communicate with employees and vendors, and may need to lift up to 40 pounds. The office environment has a team of 20-30 employees, with parking and a kitchen/coffee maker available. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $57.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
