Summary

Accessifiers is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of people with disabilities, primarily using technology. We are a technology provider for a number of schools for the blind or deaf in the Philippines. We also provide various technology solutions to help solve accessibility problems. We are looking for a Program Manager who can take ownership of the daily operation of our various programs which currently include providing educational technology for schools for the blind, deaf and other disabilities and coordinating the work of volunteers for our software projects. Multiple skills will be required to make sure that all operational aspects of the program are executed. Technology skills (mostly in using consumer software applications) or being "tech savvy" and the ability to learn quickly are required. On a high level, the objective of this role is to run and grow our various programs to help people with disabilities. Your passion to help people with disabilities will help you be proactive in solving known and new problems and making things better for the community. Your leadership and communication skills will be crucial in working with partners, beneficiaries, directors, and other stakeholders to grow and maximize our impact. People with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply. Some responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, and assessing programs that help people with disabilities Writing program documents for different stakeholders Finding ways to increase the quantitative and qualitative impact of our various program Finding problems affecting people with disabilities and proposing solutions to them. Build relationships with partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders Ability to learn and adapt to various skills depending on the needs of the program Required Qualifications Can learn software applications quickly (tech savvy). Having to learn new applications should not be intimidating to you. Well-versed with generative AI tools (e.g. chatgpt, copilot, etc.) Working with office applications such as spreadsheets, slides, and communication/collaborative applications should be trivial to you. Able to work independently or without needing constant supervision Able to identify and execute various courses of action from high-level objectives Other ideal qualifications: Background or experience in information technology Background or experience in education Background or experience in accessibility or the disability space in general Background or experience in running a business The work can mostly be done remotely and on a flexible schedule. The ability to go to certain locations in Manila or Pasay on occasion is required This role does not include managing other people. Pay raise is possible based on performance.
