Executive Leadership Opportunity in Elite Gymnastics Program Management

Excalibur Gymnastics has established itself as a premier training center for elite athletes, having produced numerous competitors who have represented the United States at the highest levels of the sport. Our program alumni have competed in Olympic Games, World Championships, Pan American Games, and National Championships, demonstrating the exceptional quality of our training methodologies and coaching expertise.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Director to exercise significant authority and independent judgment in the administration and strategic oversight of our comprehensive recreational and competitive gymnastics programs serving 1,000+ students across 12+ program categories. This executive-level position requires application of advanced theoretical knowledge in sports management, pedagogical frameworks, organizational leadership, and strategic planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Program Management & Curriculum Development

• Formulate evidence-based curriculum frameworks for diverse program portfolios
• Design comprehensive evaluation protocols applying advanced assessment methodologies
• Establish systematic curriculum dissemination protocols ensuring consistent implementation

Elite Program Leadership

• Exercise executive authority as primary director for all program divisions
• Formulate comprehensive competition strategies aligned with national governance frameworks
• Design and execute showcase events with integrated thematic elements

International Competition Management (Excalibur Cup)

• Participate in the management team for our premier international competition featuring 3,800+ competitors from 25+ states and 10 countries
• Collaborate on implementation of advanced event management frameworks
• Support formulation of comprehensive marketing strategies

Sponsorship and Marketing Management

• Develop comprehensive sponsorship acquisition strategies for programs and events
• Design multi-channel marketing campaigns integrating digital, print, and experiential touchpoints
• Create sophisticated sponsor relations protocols with tiered recognition frameworks

Staff Management & Development

• Design and implement strategic staffing models across 27 coaching positions
• Develop comprehensive coach onboarding methodologies
• Establish systematic communication protocols

Work Schedule

• Position requires availability to work evenings and weekends
• Flexibility needed for competition schedules and special events
• Presence required during peak programming hours

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education & Certification

• Master's degree in Sports Management, Education, Business Administration, or related field
• Level 1 Gymnastics Professional Coaching certification or equivalent OR at least 6 years of high-level gymnastics competition as a gymnast

Experience & Technical Knowledge

• Minimum 3 years of progressive responsibility in sports management with specialized knowledge in gymnastics program development
• Comprehensive understanding of biomechanical principles and pedagogical applications in gymnastics
• Strong background in sports marketing with emphasis on program promotion and event marketing
• Expertise in sponsorship acquisition, relationship management, and activation strategies

Technical & Creative Skills

• Advanced proficiency in specialized management software systems
• Graphic design proficiency is required, with demonstrable portfolio of marketing materials
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, including multilingual capabilities (specific but not excluding English and Spanish)

Leadership & Management Capabilities

• Advanced organizational methodologies with strategic decision-making capabilities
• Sophisticated time management frameworks with attention to procedural detail
• Advanced leadership methodologies with demonstrated ability to develop professional coaching staff
