Summary

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a Program Director for a health care nonprofit in Milton, Massachusetts (MA). Summary: This is a new local health care clinic/provider affiliated with several local hospitals and centers. This organization focuses on providing care to children and young adults across the local community. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual with public health experience, MPH or Social Work background, who really wants to provide a positive impact to members of the community. Duties: * Work closely with the local Department of Public Health, Public Schools, local clubs, Parent Leaders, and Youth, Community Leaders, to create and implement programs that promote health equity; This position requires a deep understanding of the local town and community and a commitment to advancing child health equity * Program Director will oversee the planning and execution of the health care initiatives * Engage with local community stakeholders to facilitate their participation in this new program * Work with health care providers, educators, local governance, and community leaders * Collect and analyze community health data, surveys, and needs assessments * Prepare reports summarizing findings and provide recommendations to the collaborative for addressing identified health disparities * As a Program Director, you will assist in the development of a four-year implementation plan and budget; Ensure that all program activities are executed within the framework of advancing health equity for youth * Grant Writing & Fundraising - Identify potential funding sources to help support the program * Assist with some management responsibilities of health center operations* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field is required; A Master's degree is preferred * At least 3-5 years of prior experience in healthcare, public health, or community-based programming * Be commutable to the health center site/offices south shore of Boston * Nonprofit healthcare or governmental experience with health equity initiatives, data analysis, grant proposals and program development are a huge plus
