DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Collaborate with the Primary Investigator and project team to develop program plans and ensure that they align with project goals and objectives.
* Develop and maintain a project timeline and ensure that project activities are completed on time and within budget.
* Provide supervision and support to the Graduate Assistant to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and contributing to the success of the program.
* Coordinate project meetings and provide regular updates to the Primary Investigator and project team on progress and challenges.
* Manage project logistics, including scheduling and organizing training sessions, securing training materials, and monitoring attendance.
* Monitor and track program budgets and expenses to ensure that they align with project plans and objectives.
* Collaborate with the program evaluator to ensure that all data collection requirements are met, and data is collected and submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
* Assist in data analysis and reporting to evaluate the impact of program activities on participants and the broader community.
* Provide logistical support to the program evaluator during site visits or data collection events.
* Work with the program team and external evaluator to produce articles and presentations for dissemination at conferences and in academic journals.
* Coordinate outreach and recruitment efforts to identify and engage potential program participants, including school counselors-in-training of color.
* Plan and facilitate program events, such as trainings, workshops, and conferences, to promote the program and increase awareness of the importance of school-based mental health services.
* Serve as a liaison between the program team and partner organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and alignment with program goals and objectives.
* Develop and maintain project databases and files to ensure data is organized and easily accessible to the project team and program evaluator.
* Assist with drafting and submitting grant proposals and reports to secure additional funding for the program.
* Manage program logistics, including ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for project team members.
* Other duties as assigned by the Primary Investigator.
Minimum Qualifications
These are the job duties for required of the position
Education
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience
* 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a mental health or education-related field
* Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders.
* Experience with data collection and management.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge of project management principles and practices
* Knowledge of mental health services and related issues in schools
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to supervise and provide support to others
* Proficiency in data collection, management, and analysis
* Ability to plan and facilitate events and trainings
* Knowledge of grant writing and proposal development
Conditions of Employment
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check
* Must be available to work occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for some travel to project sites or meetings.
