This can be a REMOTE position with travel, but you must live in the state of Wisconsin.
Take Root Wisconsin is a statewide initiative focused on promoting and supporting homeownership and housing stability for individuals and families across Wisconsin. The Program Coordinator will lead the planning and implementation of various housing related programs and services under the BUY, FIX, KEEP model. This role is crucial in fostering collaboration among members, ensuring the efficient operation of projects, and achieving the organization's mission of expanding equitable access to housing. Must be able to work independently from the Director while also partnering effectively and efficiently with the director to accomplish the objectives of the organization and leadership of the staff. Must be able to change with requests from leadership between programs. Willingness to take on new projects, create program manuals, and participate in grant writing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Management:
o Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of Take Root Wisconsin programs aimed at homeownership, foreclosure prevention, and financial education.
o Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget constraints, and program goals.
o Respond and counsel homeowners when requested for BUY/FIX/KEEP, and track notes and progress as needed for reporting in the predetermined database system.
2. Membership Recruitment:
o Recruit memberships and collaborate with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, financial institutions, and community partners to enhance program outreach and impact.
o Serve as the primary liaison for Foundation Take Root Wisconsin's partners and community members, facilitating communication and partnership opportunities.
o Represent the organization in community events, coalitions, and public forums, advocating for housing-related issues.
3. Data & Reporting:
o Monitor program performance and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
o Collect, analyze, and report data on program metrics, impact, and beneficiary feedback.
o Prepare program reports for funders, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors as required.
4. Resource Development:
o Assist in identifying funding opportunities.
5. Community Outreach & Education:
o Lead outreach efforts to increase public awareness of homeownership programs, foreclosure prevention services, and financial literacy resources.
o Develop leadership and IT to deliver workshops, training sessions, and other educational materials that support Take Root Wisconsin's mission.
o Foster relationships with community leaders, housing counselors, and advocates to amplify outreach efforts.
