Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 4:30PM

Evenings and weekend availability required as needed.

Summary

Family Service League is seeking a Program Coordinator for our Dual Recovery Services program in Hauppauge. The Program Coordinator will identify barriers to service accessibility and implement localized systemic means to improve the quality of services for all clients needing dual recovery services throughout Suffolk County.

Responsibilities

  • The Program Coordinator will identify existing challenges to service accessibility and cooperation and implement solutions for overcoming such challenges.
  • Identify workforce training needs and facilitate cross-agency and cross-discipline competency-based staff development.
  • The Program Coordinator will increase awareness of evidenced based practices as it applies to populations with co-occurring disorders.
  • Craft a protocol to develop and monitor integrated, client-centered service and treatment plans.
  • The Program Coordinator will craft user friendly guidance documents to support educational activities, resource development and dissemination and operations and policy recommendations.
  • Lead a coalition of providers and community members in achieving a common goal of improving the system of care for those who have co-occurring disorders in Suffolk County.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Human Services required. CASAC preferred.

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an administrative capacity and ability to organize a group of varied professionals.

Excellent Interpersonal And Verbal And Written Communication Skills Required.

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting for long periods of time.
