Summary

Eastern Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for a full-time 36-40 hours per week, Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Specialist. This position provides information and assistance to older adults and adults with disabilities regarding state and federal services and benefit programs, as well as local community resources. The role also requires the ADRC Specialist to become knowledgeable in Medicare. This position will be based in the employees’ home in Washington County with bi-weekly travel to the Calais required, along with some additional community travel. A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Human Development, Gerontology, or related field required, LSW preferred. Community resource knowledge preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Database experience is essential.
