Position Overview:
EDABC is happy to announce an opening for the position of Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of programmatic strategies including research, reports, and events across organizational verticals, supporting active membership/stakeholder engagement, and fundraising activity including reviewing and recommending grants. The Program Manager will focus on EDABC’s priorities of connecting, convening, and catalyzing people, resources, and opportunities to build greater inclusive economies positioned to prosper, grow, and thrive.
Candidates will have a personal commitment and connection to our mission, excel in navigating uncertainty and adapting to change, and proactively identify opportunities to advance our mission while staying focused on day-to-day responsibilities. They should be able to integrate principles of inclusive economics and economic justice into all aspects of their work, while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills, strategic planning, systems thinking, and geopolitical awareness.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Program Coordinators are actively engaged in their assigned regions and communities, which requires approximately 10-15% travel throughout Denver, Colorado. A valid Colorado driver’s license is required. A bachelor’s degree and/or any relevant work experience that is equivalent to program management.
Additionally, qualified candidates must have two to five years’ experience in the nonprofit, public, or business sectors. Preference will be given to applicants who have extensive experience in economic development, policy and advocacy in Colorado communities and statewide issues.
The starting range for this position is $50,000 – $57,410 per year, paid as salaried and exempt. This is a full-time position in Denver, Colorado. We work on a hybrid model; Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays will serve as in-office days, while Thursdays and Fridays will be remote. Please do note that some meetings and events will require travel and an in-person set up. (~10%).
