Job Summary
You're vital for program success. Manage activities, resources, and expenses efficiently. Keep records, coordinate services, and resolve issues. Improve patient care and satisfaction.
Essential Functions Of The Role
- Arrange and promote the programs, and oversee the orientation and ongoing training for all program members.
- Function as a bridge connecting the team, advisory committee, and facility management, including the marketing department.
- Enter into or facilitate the yearly planning and review of the program.
- Develop and execute evaluation methods for program effectiveness, and report the findings.
- Be a part of the Advisory Committee and be present in all meetings.
- Gather and process all outcome information accurately and promptly.
- Undertake continuous Quality Improvement actions to comply with standards set by any relevant governing bodies.
- Start and maintain program correspondence and records. Maintain medical records and files. Ensure accurate patient charge entry. Reconcile accounts, handle payroll, and review financial reports monthly.
- Examine, resolve, and document resolution of patient grievances regarding services provided by the program.
Key Success Factors
- Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, and standards set by certification bodies, along with hospital policies and protocols.
- Understanding medical terms and health practices is crucial. Knowing about medications, doses, and effects is important in healthcare.
- Capacity to articulate thoughts effectively, through both spoken and written means.
- Social abilities to interact well with a variety of people and groups.
- Capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, electronic health records, and more is needed for everyday computing proficiency.
- Understanding information security, scheduling, payroll systems, and email are also important.

- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree.
