Job Description
The program coordinator will coordinate the daily operations of the program, acting as a key resource for program leaders and administrative liaisons. Responsibilities include managing and organizing activities to ensure the program runs smoothly. This role is responsible for the daily operations and decision making that supports a specific program or initiative. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling processes to achieve program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
Job Summary:
* Assists the Director of Training in Psychiatry in developing and implementing all child and adolescent psychiatry training program activities related to the psychiatry discipline including managing rotations and training assignments of psychiatry fellows, interns, practicum students, and externs.
* Completes all onboarding activities for incoming psychiatry trainees on an annual basis. This includes distribution of match letters to candidates, coordination of hire letters with the Human Resources Department, ensuring all physical exam and certification requirements have been met, arranging for all mandatory education courses, obtaining all network and IT access, and managing office assignment and set up, maintaining and updating orientation books and intern handbooks. Other related tasks as needed.
* Completes all exiting activities for outgoing and graduating psychiatry training. This includes tasks related to the graduation ceremony and end of year luncheon, collecting all department/hospital property, processing cancellations of access to network and IT systems, and other related tasks as needed.
* Maintains and manages psychiatry trainee supervision schedules, with close collaboration with faculty members and distribution of schedules and updates as needed.
* Schedules all orientation courses, weekly didactic courses and therapy seminars, coordinating with the child and adolescent psychology training program and the social work training program. This includes scheduling of conference rooms and performing room set-up as needed, confirming faculty teaching availability and rescheduling as needed throughout the year, distribution of materials needed for seminars.
* Distributed and tracks all psychiatry trainee evaluation forms and coordinate annual Psychiatry Education Program evaluation meeting.
* Maintains data related to the psychiatry training program. Tabulates all data in an electronic format and performs basic statistical analyses of the data to be reported out.
* Maintains data related to faculty participation in training activities, direct service delivery, participation in professional organizations, publications, presentations, and leadership positions.
* Coordinates recruitment activities including maintaining the internship Brochure and website, manages the intern web-site (through the Association of Pre and Post Internship Centers).
* Organizes psychiatry trainee applicant interviews, manages selection teams, and acts as host and greeter on each interview day annually.
* Maintains files for each psychiatry trainee.
* Coordinates activities related to accreditation site visits.

* Bachelor's degree in related field required.

Pay Range
$59,280.00-$96,928.00 Salary
