Community Resource Center Program Coordinator- full time, occasional evening, and weekend availability.
This position will work closely with the Community Resource Center Manager to coordinate day-to-day operations of CRC programs to include youth, senior, and multi-generational programming. Position duties include but are not limited to; data collection, monitoring goals and objectives, increase community and participant engagement, as well as coordinate new and priority projects and events surrounding CRC engagement.
Partner Coordination
- Create effective and sustainable partnerships between community and neighborhood organizations including schools, community organizations, youth development programs, universities, and other relevant partners in order to support the needs of a diverse population.
- Coordinate and facilitate programs/workshops for seniors, young adults, and youth.
- Create avenues of engagement through online and offline methods to provide open spaces for feedback and information gathering on CRC initiatives.
- Serves as the main contact for community members and partners who have interests in CRC initiatives.
- Partners with community leaders to improve quality of life issues; proactively works to identify emerging issues in the community.
Multi-generational Engagement Coordination
- Develop trusting relationships with youth and young adults using an asset-based, culturally inclusive, and trauma-informed approach.
- Walk alongside participants in addressing areas of concern, accessing resources, educational advocacy, navigating systems, and accomplishing goals.
- Facilitate youth focus groups to encourage youth voice and input for program design.
- Manages all aspects of the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Program (YEEP) each summer at Bon Secours Community Works, including program design, recruitment, implementation, and grant reporting.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of new programs and services at Bon Secours Community Works’ (BSCW) community resource center.
- Provide program participants with additional internal and external resources to support with development.
- Works hands-on in program activities and special events as well as participates in outreach and recruitment activities.
- Enter data and case notes into identified database systems.
- Employment Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education preferred
- At least 2 years of progressive, related experience in youth development
- Proficient in in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective verbal, oral presentation, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

- One year of project management experience
