Overview:

Full time (40 hours a week) position working in a culturally specific program for African American males living with severe and persistent mental illness, who receive mental health services through CCBH Adult Services or other community mental health agencies. Services provided include, but not limited to, social/recreation, outreach, education and support for involved men and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in social work or counseling, previous experience and competence in working with African American males, 2 – 3 years of case management and/or community-based experience, transportation and good driving record as well as personal vehicle insurance for bodily injury/property damage liability, experience working with culturally diverse families.

Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds to support demands within office environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ohio license in social work or counseling.
