MCCN is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health services to underserved communities. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Director to oversee the development and implementation of our CCBHC project and additional special projects.
Position: Behavioral Health Director
Location: Panorama
Status: Full-time
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the development, implementation, and sustainability of the SAMHSA CCBHC Expansion grant project.
* Coordinate with various departments (Primary Care, Dental, Behavioral Health, Social Services, IT, Finance) to achieve project goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with HR to facilitate the hiring of project staff.
* Plan and conduct meetings with County departments, partners, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors.
* Ensure compliance with all CCBHC grant requirements, developing and monitoring service delivery through MOUs.
* Lead the development of a sustainability plan for the continuation of CCBHC after the grant period.
* Manage data collection protocols, ensuring data integrity and compliance with SAMHSA requirements.
* Prepare project and grant reports in accordance with grant agreements.
* Train staff in cultural competency, including military culture.
* Oversee and train the call center specific to this grant.
Special Projects:
* Implement additional programs and grants, including HRSA and private grants.
* Assist in enhancing department systems and workflows.
* Conduct quality improvement projects and generate analytical reports.
* Revise project plans as needed to meet changing requirements.
* Assist in reinstating PCMH status and opening new clinic sites.
* Oversee strategic planning and operational responsibilities, including contract reviews.
* Ensure compliance with clinic licensing and maintain long-term relationships with payers.
Qualifications:
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in upper-level management preferred, with supervisory experience.
Education, Training, and Experience Required:
* Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, behavioral healthcare, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a health system of care.
* Valid California Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Expected hours: 40 per week
