Job Description:
The NRL Star Program Associate will be a college graduate or military veteran seeking to develop a broad understanding of the mortgage industry and identify which area of the mortgage business aligns best with their skills and interests. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career within the mortgage industry. The NRL Star Program will provide a structured pathway for candidates to gain a comprehensive experience across various functions within the company while leveraging their unique skills and backgrounds.
Major Responsibilities:
Complete rotations with three (3) different assigned departments within a 12-month period
Engage in day-to-day operations and projects within each department
Learn specific industry tools, software and compliance regulations
Contribute to team goals and participate in process improvements
Complete formal training sessions, on-the-job training and shadowing for foundational knowledge
Prepare for a potential full-time role upon completion of the program
Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Expectations:
College graduate with a strong academic record or relevant experience and training from military service
Relevant degree or certifications that align with industry needs (ex. financial analysis, project management, etc.)
Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and professional development
If applicable, demonstrated readiness and motivation to transition from military to civilian roles
Flexibility to adapt to different roles and challenges
Proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and a desire to take on new challenges
Associate will work onsite Monday through Friday for eight (8) hours each day
