A leading international law firm law is looking for a proactive Professional Standards and Quality Specialist to join their HR function in their London offices.

The ideal candidate for this role should have prior experience in conduct compliance, ethical practice and professional skills training and an excellent understanding of the SRA Standards and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities for the Professional Standards and Quality Specialist role:

• Support the delivery of high-quality legal services by maintaining and promoting current best practices and professional standards across the firm.
• Liaise with the Compliance & Risk team to monitor changes in regulatory expectations and ensure timely communication of updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct internal reviews and quality assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Help embed effective supervision practices tailored for a hybrid and AI-augmented work environment
• Develop and deliver training focused on conduct, ethics, client service, and professional skills across legal and business functions.
• Provide accessible support and guidance on internal and external learning opportunities, especially those aimed at developing behavioural and professional skills.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align CPD activity with performance reviews, and produce regular compliance training reports.

Skills & Experience

• Background in professional services with demonstrated experience in compliance, quality standards, or professional skills development.
• Experience designing and managing compliance training and reporting frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across a diverse, international workforce.
