Seeking an AI focused Product Owner/Portfolio Manager to support enterprise wide AI / ML implementations and product teams to ensure clarity in strategic direction. We are seeking candidates who can bring an expertise to lead and manage project requirements and introduces new, beneficial tools and practices. Focuses on managing the development of AI/ML products to meet the needs of internal and external clients, and helps to establish the business value for their development and implementation. Provides business point of view and guidance on opportunities and risks to support clients.

Required Skills

• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
• Experience: 8+ years experience as a Product Owner
• Minimum of 1-2 AI Product Implementations as a Product Owner. Experience within agile process and principles is required. Must have implemented AI products from scratch. New implementation AI experience is critically important to the success of this position.
• Prior experience managing a portfolio of AI implementation projects (capturing info, discussing ideas, driving to conclusions, implementation of the AI product within depts). Driving the product portfolio with the hands on team members to ensure completion. Knowledge on how to capture AI requirements/use cases for implementing AI into an established environment without AI services. AI Planning. Generative AI would be preferred.
• Must have outstanding communication and presentation abilities. This position requires presentations to stakeholders and upper management to share product implementation updates
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in new or emerging AI initiatives.
• Ability to balance long-term strategy with short-term execution, ensuring incremental delivery of AI projects with measurable outcomes.
• Proven experience working on AI products or supporting AI department planning and strategy.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies, trends, and business requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills to lead, facilitate, and drive conversations with senior management and stakeholders for AI ideation, strategic alignment, and exploration.
• Expertise in developing and delivering compelling presentations and decks to showcase AI use cases, feasibility studies, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting department-level planning, particularly within data science, AI, or similar technical domains, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Ability to identify, explore, and prioritize AI use cases across multiple business units, translating business needs into actionable plans and product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess AI opportunities, risks, and feasibility.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, business owners, etc.) to align product goals with AI strategies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., SAFe), with a focus on integrating AI solutions within product planning and delivery cycles.
