Job description
Their primary role isto fix production jobs, resolve data errors and constantly register the details for later reports
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal performance and availability of data to end users
Analyzing and responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to the other teams
Pick up support tickets and work to address the issues, liaising with other technical teams where necessary.
Required Competency:
Strong knowledge in SQL especially Teradata
Strong Knowledge in Hadoop especially in Hive and SPARK
Strong Knowledge in Google Cloud Platform especially in BigQuery, GCS and Dataproc
Knowledge in Unix scripting and job scheduling tools preferably in UC4/Airflow
Experience in monitoring scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests
