Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Supervisor specializing in Sheet Metal Fabrication and Machine Shop. This mid-level, full-time position is based in Tumakuru. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The role involves overseeing production processes and ensuring quality standards in alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven experience in machine scheduling and production planning, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• BE/Diploma
• Demonstrated ability to handle a team effectively, ensuring efficient manpower utilization.
• Strong background in machine and spare maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Expertise in statistical analysis to track and optimize production metrics.
• Experience in predictive modeling to foresee and mitigate potential production issues.
• Capable of implementing and managing ISO and in-process quality activities (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with machine learning algorithms and applications in manufacturing (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency with statistical tools and software to aid in process evaluation and improvements.

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.
• Monitor and optimize machine scheduling to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of machinery.
• Implement ISO and in-process quality control measures to uphold product quality.
• Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling to track production trends and improve productivity.
• Handle manpower allocation efficiently to meet production targets.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate new technologies seamlessly into the production line.
• Generate and present regular production reports to senior management for review.
