The Impact You’ll Make

You’ll steer all day-to-day floor operations—keeping comb-molding lines running safely and efficiently, upholding rigorous quality standards, and leading a 10-person crew in a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Daily Actions

  • Open/close the factory; start/stop compressors, dryers, water tower, and molding presses
  • Verify attendance, assign crew, and perform 7-step molding machine startups with hourly QC checks
  • Stage molds/materials, mix colors, change molds, and run just-in-time private-label orders
  • Book finished combs into inventory, palletize, and ship customer orders
  • Rapid-response troubleshooting to eliminate downtime and safety risks


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Lead People

  • Supervise, coach, and schedule full-time, temp, and lead operators
  • Onboard and train new hires in processes, equipment, and safety
  • Resolve conflicts and foster a respectful, high-performance culture
  • Maintain accurate attendance and training records

Run Production

  • Review shop orders for accuracy; meet daily/weekly output targets
  • Monitor schedules to ensure on-time order completion
  • Perform root-cause analysis on errors and implement corrective actions

Quality & Safety

  • Enforce product specs through regular in-process inspections
  • Drive zero-defect mindset; escalate and contain any non-conformances
  • Champion OSHA and company safety policies; conduct toolbox talks

Equipment & Process

  • Oversee preventive maintenance for presses and support equipment
  • Troubleshoot molding processes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electronics
  • Document maintenance and repairs; identify improvement and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Apply lean / 5S principles to boost OEE and reduce scrap


What We’re Looking For

5 + yrs hands-on injection-molding (setup & maintenance)

Working knowledge of hydraulics, light mechanical, and basic electronics

Active forklift Certification & ability to lift 50 lb
