We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven =Production Supervisor (1st Shift) for our fast-paced and innovative food processing plant. This role is perfect for an individual with a strong background in production operations, lean manufacturing, 5S, sanitation, and production line management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production processes, ensuring they run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all USDA regulations. The role involves working in a refrigerated environment and partnering with our quality assurance team to establish procedures that guarantee the highest standards of our products. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with USDA regulations.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize production processes.
• Establish and enforce sanitation standards and procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Manage the production line, coordinating personnel and resources to meet production targets.
• Partner with the quality assurance team to develop and implement procedures that ensure product quality and
  
  

consistency.

• Oversee food processing operations, ensuring products meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor and control inventory to ensure adequate raw materials for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Train, mentor, and develop production team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and
  
  

excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, sanitation, and production line management.
• Solid understanding of USDA regulations and standards.
• Experience in overseeing food processing in a refrigerated environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
