Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Production Print, the Production Print Manager executes on general sales, competitive analysis, marketing programs, and solutions selling strategies as defined and directed by the Associate Director of Production Print, Area AVPs, Territory Business Managers, Regional Major Account Managers, and Industry and Government Account Managers, respectively. This position enables and drives sales toward quota attainment and increased market share with responsibility for the motivation and growth of all Production Print pre-sales and administrative functions, including educating/selling to, through, and with our dealer community.
This position will be covering the western region that includes the following territories: Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, and Montana
Responsibilities
* Achieve sales revenue and unit budget for the assigned quota
* Manage forecasted and planned budget levels, emphasizing revenues, productivity, and unit placements.
* Provides both pre-sale and post-sale support to the regional sales staff with Sharp Hercules, Polaris Office, Polaris Pro, and Darwin Production products.
* Supports an assigned territory that may span multiple markets.
* Supports all Sharp Production equipment mentioned above that is 70 ppm and above. This includes demonstrations, application support, and sales calls with sales reps in a support role.
* Trains clients on copier features, printer features, color theory, finishing devices, and possible workflow solutions for their business environment.
* Works with designated service personnel to complete the installation of associated workflow software and production-oriented finishing options. Also, the customer receives training.
* Prepare and promptly submit required business plans, activity reports, and forecasts
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years equivalent experience in the graphics, production print market or related field in a sales organization or similar capacity.
* Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
* Experience creating and assisting in the delivery of professional sales presentations.
* Strong understanding of print drivers, printer networking, graphics programs, color theory, web-based submission programs, print workflow software, color management, and specific media types.
* Hardware knowledge: Macintosh and PCs.
* Software knowledge: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Macromedia Freehand, QuarkXPress, Adobe Acrobat, PDF, Tiff, and EPS formats, Microsoft Office, and other programs.
* Understand proprietary software for different RIPs, specifically, Fiery.
* Knowledge of Fiery and Fiery tools.
* Knowledge of Color Logic and Touch 7 Solutions
* Knowledge of SalesForce
* Excellent communication skills.
* 80% plus travel required.
* Candidate can reside any of the locations but be in close proximity to an airport for frequent travel: Alaska, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, and Montana

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $88,900- $140,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
