As a Production Planner for our site Groot Bijgaarden, you play a key role in the efficient organization of our production lines.

Your primary mission is to ensure optimal planning to ensure on-time delivery to customers, efficient and high-quality production, and the availability of raw materials and packaging. You actively contribute to operational objectives and continuous improvement toward operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities

You manage orders and draw up production schedules to guarantee a high level of internal and external service with maximum efficiency of sequences:

• Prepare production schedules for the site, respecting production sequences to maximize productivity and efficiency and minimize delays
• Create and confirm production orders, ensuring compliance with production dates, customer delivery deadlines and raw material availability, adjusting deviations on a daily basis.
• Ensure continuous communication between production and preparation, on the one hand, and purchasing, internal suppliers, and sales, on the other
• Plan production shutdowns (investments, maintenance, inventories, etc.)
• Order and confirm bulk products
• Attend DOR (daily operation review) and follow-up on discussed items
• Manage strategic product KPI’s and stock control
• Backup for other planners and the material planner
  
  

Who are we looking for ?

• You have a bachelor or master degree (logistics, accounting, economic sciences,..) or are equivalent through experience
• You have affinity or experience within a production environment, you like being responsible for planning with all its challenges
• You are fluent in English, with good understanding of Dutch and French
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office, SAP APO experience is an asset but not a must
• You are highly organized and function optimally in a changing environment.
• You are stress-resistant, customer-oriented, flexible and dare to make decisions.
• You have an analytical mind and good communication and negotiation skills.
