As Production Manager, you lead production operations for our rigid plastic packaging manufacturing site in Lima, OH. Your mission is to ensure effective production of high-quality products for our customers by an engaged & skilled workforce.

You Will

• Provide leadership to all facets of Production to assure productivity, quality, compliance and safety objectives are consistently met
• Foster a safety-first & quality-oriented culture
• Manage a team of supervisors & team leaders, assuring support for Associate success through interviewing & selecting top talent, team engagement, performance management, training & development and other human resources activities
• Facilitate communication & coordinate activities with other areas of the operation to ensure smooth and efficient overall site performance
• Collaborate within and across the operation to drive continuous improvement
  
  

You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing production experience, with a preference for high-volume plastic manufacturing
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading and motivating teams in a manufacturing production environment
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (we use SAP) and other manufacturing technology applications
• Knowledge of 6S & continuous improvement practices
