Summary

Porpose: The production Manager is responsible to oversees production and daily work providing operational leadership and support to maintain the highest levels of productivity, as well as ensuring compliance with all US and local regulation Essential Responsibilities’ Provides direction and leadership to production, quality, and color shop department. Ensure a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local state and federal requirements. Implement safety measures for accident prevention “Safety First” performance through monthly departmental safety meetings and working with line Supervisors to ensure hourly employee compliance. Lead internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Continually support and work cooperatively with Human Resources on the timely and accurate handling of processes, including but not limited to: recruit, hire, and train, performance Appraisals, corrective actions, attendance tracking, accident reporting. Track employee’s absenteeism, performance, and timekeeping. Coordinate and provide any training required to assigned team members. Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures, and instructions of the company quality systems Coordinate plant activities through planning with Textile Director to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. Prepare departmental costs and variances with regard to productivity, short and long-range planning, labor scheduling, product scheduling, raw materials, packaging supplies, product weight and inventory levels. Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses. Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. Implements and maintains preventative and corrective maintenance programs. Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget Able to work on technical projects within the organization Requirements: Bachelor degree in Business Administrations or Engineering Degree from an accredited college/university. Up to 10 years of experience in similar function. Woven fabrics production and development is a must with focus in Preparation, Print, dye and finish. (desirable experience in Militar fabric market Textile technical knowledge, emphasis in fabric printing and finishing. Knowledge of computer software, MS Office Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, evidencing the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and objectives. A proactive management style, which identifies, anticipates, and resolves potential issues before they become significant problems. Decision-making, leadership, and strategic thinking Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Experience: ISO 9001: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
