Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join the DPC Team in Anaheim, CA. This position is responsible for managing all manufacturing areas to ensure that production, quality and safety standards are achieved according to set production schedules Main Job Duties: * Execute production plan through the efficient use of staffing, materials, equipment and other resources and setting production goals * Monitor production metrics to identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements * Determine staffing requirements and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding compensation, performance and shift coverage * Coordinate equipment maintenance, turnaround, and downtime and communicate such with senior leadership * Ensure training processes, equipment and tool requirements comply with health and safety regulations * Coach teams on best practices, performance issues and employee relations concerns to resolve problems * Ensure manufactured components meet engineering specifications and quality standards * Ensure accuracy of inventory transaction according to established processes * Analyze processes and procedures to improve efficiency * Provide effective leadership, guidance and coaching to ensure optimal personnel effectiveness and engagement * Promote and enable cross-training and continuous improvement for all employees * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience is required Experience: * A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment is required * A minimum of 2 years effectively leading others is required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: * Sheet metal manufacturing experience is required * Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills are required * Strong organizational and prioritization skills are required * Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise and manage others is required * Ability to think strategically and tactically with a solid business acumen and understanding of multiple functional areas is required * Must be highly collaborative, able to work effectively across functions and support an environment of innovation and creative change * Forklift certification is preferred * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required * Knowledge of ERP system is required; SAP experience is preferred * Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred Company Info About Legrand Legrand is the global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
