Soni's client is seeking a Production Data Engineer to join their growing team! As a Production Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of the company's data infrastructure. You will be responsible for optimizing data pipelines, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting the growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows to ensure efficient data flow and transformation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Automate routine data tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on the latest data technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of work experience in data engineering or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Linux or Windows systems administration, preferably in a medium to large-enterprise server environment.
• Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python, and familiarity with server deployment tools.
• Passion for working with data, especially large datasets, and a keen eye for data cleanliness and correctness.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $150,00-180,000 a year

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.

Schedule: 5 days a week onsite, 9 hour shift
