Job Description

In this role, you will be part of the Product & Engineering, IP Telephony (IPT) organization in the Product System Test team. You will develop software functionalities for our core network products.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Contribute to Product System testing.
  • Own End-to-end system level features and deliver with quality
  • Drive the test strategy, test effectiveness and improvements for the IMS product in functional/non-functional areas and be accountable for fault escapes.
  • Work effectively in a mixed environment and use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Plan technical requirements based on customers’ needs.
  • Apply and maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in process and tool evolution and improvements.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • 10+ years of System test, Performance Test and Automation experience with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures
  • Good hands-on deep knowledge of IMS, VoLTE, SIP, DIAMETER, 4G/5G core technologies
  • Prior experience of interfacing with customers & customer teams is an added advantage.
  • Good working experience on Linux, Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack.
  • In-depth working experience with automation like Robot Framework, Python, cloud-ready, cloud-native, microservices and containers architecture.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Prior experience of interfacing with customers & customer teams is an added advantage.
  • Should have worked on tool sets like Jira, Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Experience in Redhat-OCP is an added advantage.
  • Able to bring in innovative practices for chaotic programmable tests like Chaos Monkey, Chaos Mesh, Janitor Monkey etc.
