About The Job

Nordic Semiconductor seeks an experienced Product Reliability Engineer to join our Product Qualification Team in Taiwan. In this role, you will execute product-level qualification and reliability testing programs, support failure analysis efforts, and act as the main point of contact for foundry suppliers, wafer manufacturers, OSATs, and other suppliers involved in qualification activities. Also, this position will support the design chain on reliability issues and analyze test data to assess product reliability. Your knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and statistical data analysis will be crucial. This position demands strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with effective time management and multitasking abilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute product-level qualification and reliability testing programs in compliance with applicable industry standards, company internal and external customer specifications, and requirements.
  • Support failure analysis efforts associated with qualification- and reliability testing.
  • Act as point-of-contact towards foundry suppliers and wafer manufacturers.
  • Act as point-of-contact towards OSATs for assembly-related issues.
  • Act as point-of-contact towards suppliers associated with qualification activities.
  • Collect all documentation required for reliability qualification, such as datasheets, qualification test reports, material declarations, packaging information, etc.
  • Support the Design Chain on reliability issues
  • Analyze and interpret test data to assess product reliability.
  • Conduct qualification plan and control schedule.


Key Qualifications And Skills

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field
  • At least five years of semiconductor industry experience
  • Product qualification-related experiences
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and materials
  • Statistical data analysis skills and thinking - excel, jmp, galaxy.
  • Excellent communication skills in english, both verbally and written
