Summary

The primary purpose of the Product Owner Assistant / Business Analyst role is to work with the client’s team and to support the Product Owner on the client side in defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog. This individual will act as a key member between stakeholders and the Multiplied development team, ensuring that product requirements are clearly understood and translated into actionable tasks.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Assist the Product Owner in defining and managing the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant documentation for the development team.
  • Facilitate communication between the development team, stakeholders, and other project team members.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Support the development team in clarifying requirements and resolving any ambiguities or blockers.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that the delivered functionality meets the defined requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update product documentation, including user guides and release notes (Jira, Confluence, and any other tool required).
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and issues to the Product Owner and Project Manager.
  • Monitor and report on progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Create necessary reports for the position to track progress, communicate updates, and highlight key metrics.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or related role within software development projects.
  • English proficiency at a C1-Technical level or higher.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Scrum certification (ScrumMaster or Product Owner) is a plus.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge in the Medical field or Medical experience is a plus.
