Job Description
The
Community Growth Lead will be responsible for creating and executing data-driven strategies to optimize member acquisition, retention, and engagement. This leader will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, product teams, and marketing to enhance membership benefits and analyze user behavior to convert free users to paid members. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, community engagement, and leadership expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to grow and retain members while increasing revenue.
- Analyze user behavior and membership data to optimize free-to-paid conversion strategies.
- Lead a team of six, including product managers and external stakeholder-facing roles.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, including project scopes, roadmaps, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to drive growth initiatives.
- Manage community engagement platforms such as volunteer forums and social media groups.
- Implement A/B testing, user segmentation, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Establish KPIs and track metrics to evaluate growth and engagement performance.
- Foster partnerships with third-party platforms to enhance member benefits and offerings.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years leading teams in a growth-focused environment.
- Industry Background: For-profit experience preferred, ideally in SaaS or membership-based organizations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SEO, SEM, CRM strategies, Adobe Target, and SAS.
- Leadership: Strong team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with excellent change management capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
