  • Independently handle Workwear product portfolio including the life cycle management of the respective industries for China and other countries as required.
  • Manage and lead product development projects. Cross functional coordination as required.
  • Competitor product portfolio analysis- local and global competitors.
  • Identification of missing products from Lindstrom portfolio and planning complete product range.
  • Development and deployment of new or updated product concepts.
  • Post deployment product performance analysis.
  • Following and analyzing industry and market signals both internally and externally and turning signals into product development initiatives.
  • Has an active role in sharing the product offering related information and supporting the Sales and customer interface also in internal social Channels (e.g. Yammer and Linet)
  • Informs Business Units of coming changes in the respective product portfolio and maintains open dialog as part of Lindstr02m Management Model systematics.
  • Cost analysis and pricing- profitability calculation.
  • Run down of outdated products and replacement with new products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in fashion/textiles/wearable product design or garment technology.
  • Deep understanding of ergonomics with respect to performance workwear/ sportswear. Or, at least, candidate must understand the basic logics of how garments can potentially protect people or processes for our customers.
  • 6-8 years of experience in cross functional non-IT product management and product development in multinational work environment. Previous experience in design/management of performance workwear/ uniforms/ sportwear is added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, consistently, and analytically in matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Adobe illustrator/corel draw must. Basics of Tableau, product lifecycle management software are added advantage.
  • Cost analysis and pricing knowledge.
  • Ability to understand the market drivers in fast changing business environment
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English
