Product Manager Moon Surgical Jobs Board Desired start date: June 2025 Location: San Carlos, CA, USA Moon Team Photos 2.jpg Job Description Overview The Product Manager for the Maestro Analytics Dashboard will lead the development and launch of an advanced data platform for the Maestro system. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to commercialization, collaborating closely with surgeons, hospital administrators, and internal teams. Key responsibilities include understanding user profiles (personas) and their pain points, gathering clinical and operational requirements, and prioritizing features. You will drive innovation in analytics, ensuring the product delivers valuable insights while playing a key role in Moon Surgical's growth. Additionally, you will support the product team in developing internal tools, enhancements for the Maestro system and other activities. Core Responsibilities Your Day-to-day Activities * Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders, including UX research, UI designers, engineering, clinical, and marketing teams, to drive the design and development of the analytics dashboard. * Attend and lead product development meetings, working with design and development teams to meet project milestones. * Engage with sites to understand user pain points and gather insights to refine the product. * Analyze data and user feedback, translating findings into actionable product improvements. * Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. * Provide hands-on support during customer engagements, ensuring a deep understanding of real-world product usage and requirements. * Report on project progress, challenges, and key decisions to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. You will work closely with the engineering, clinical, UX research, teams to ensure the product meets all technical and clinical standards. * You'll be a key player in defining the future of the Maestro system's analytics capabilities, and your work will directly impact hospital operations and surgeon satisfaction. * In this highly visible role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, serving as a crucial link between product development and end-user needs. * You will work closely with sales and marketing teams, supporting the creation of go-to-market strategies and ensuring the successful launch and upgrades. * Your contributions will help elevate Moon Surgical's positioning in the competitive landscape and analytics space, making your role vital to the company's growth and innovation. We believe that communication and planning are as important as execution. * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field. * MBA or product management courses are preferred. * 3+ years of product management experience. * A proven track record in developing and launching data analytics platforms or dashboards is highly preferred. * Proven experience in engaging with users to identify their goals and uncover core needs. * Strong understanding of data visualization tools and principles. * Experience working with AI/ML-driven insights and predictive analytics is an advantage. * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams (software developers, data scientists, UI/UX designers) to define system requirements.
