Title: Sr Product Manager

Location: Onsite 4 days a week Ramsey, NJ, 1 day remote

Salary: 120-140k

Position Overview

A direct client is searching for a strategic and technically adept Senior Product Manager to lead product initiatives from concept to delivery. In this role, you will define product strategies, shape roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and user needs. The ideal candidate brings a balance of business acumen and technical understanding, enabling them to make informed decisions that drive product success.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision: Establish and communicate a clear long-term product direction that aligns with company objectives and market demands.

Backlog Management: Own the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-documented, prioritized, and aligned with business priorities, user feedback, and technical constraints.

Requirements Definition: Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.

User Experience Collaboration: Work closely with UX teams and end-users to design intuitive, user-friendly solutions tailored to the target audience.

User Story Creation: Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to define product functionality and guide development efforts.

Prioritization & Roadmapping: Balance competing priorities by assessing business impact, technical effort, and customer needs to maintain a focused and effective product roadmap.

Release Coordination: Collaborate with engineering teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver product releases on schedule, managing dependencies and resource planning.

Development Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for development teams, providing clarity on requirements and ensuring smooth project execution.

Quality Oversight: Work with QA teams to define testing strategies and validate that product deliverables meet quality standards.

Customer Insight & Feedback: Continuously gather and integrate customer feedback to enhance product functionality and user satisfaction.

Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform product enhancements and maintain market relevance.

Documentation & Communication: Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including feature guides, release notes, and technical references.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in product management or technical project management roles.
• Strong background in SaaS, multi-channel solutions, and process optimization is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Agile frameworks and experienced with the full software development lifecycle.
• Solid technical literacy with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
• Product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, adept at working with cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-value solutions.
• Familiarity with Staffing, ERP, HRIS, or payroll systems is a plus.
