PRODUCT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

After a short learning period you will be involved in the strategic development of Paleo’s Myoglobin product range (range extension & new applications)

• Establish and regularly review the development strategy and approach of the Paleo’s product offering in collaboration with the Chief Business Officer
• Support sales of Paleo’s solutions in Animal Nutrition (Petfood) and Food (Meat Alternatives) applications
• Translate and communicate the needs between the market/sales and the other functional areas and stakeholders
• Follow up on market trends, regulations and competition
• Identify opportunities and give advice to sales/management in terms of pricing, products and the market
• Ensure all technical documentation about the Paleo’s products is up to date
• Coach and train colleagues and inform customers regarding product specifications, technical questions and marketing questions
• Represent the product range at fairs, conferences and selected customer meetings

Key Qualifications

• Master degree in bio-engineering, veterinary sciences, food-petfood technology or similar
• Experience in the food /feed ingredients business, preferably in proteins
• Strong customer/commercial orientation with sense of humor and pragmatism
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French are an asset
• You are able to travel approximately 25% of your time to international destinations
