Product Manager, HR Core Applications

Direct Hire

Salary Range: $140,000-$152,000

Location: California (remote, PST)

Are you a strategic problem-solver with a passion for optimizing HR systems? We're looking for a Product Manager, HR Core Applications to lead the implementation and enhancement of critical platforms like Workday, Kronos, and Healthstream. In this role, you'll drive cross-functional projects, manage system performance, and collaborate with HR and IT leaders to deliver smart, scalable solutions that power our workforce. Responsibilities

  • Manage lifecycle of HR applications (Workday, Kronos, Healthstream)
  • Lead system implementation, support, and optimization
  • Recommend and execute technical solutions aligned with HR goals
  • Ensure integration and compliance with enterprise IT standards
  • Supervise and mentor application support teams
  • Collaborate with clinical, business, and research stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement processes and vendor evaluations
  • Contribute to IT strategic planning and project evaluation
  • Deliver presentations and support cross-functional initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare and IT, with a focus on HRIS system configuration and support.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or redesigning systems for scheduling, timekeeping, credential tracking, and identity management.
  • 3+ years managing leadership-level relationships and leading tech teams in support or project roles.
  • Strong project management skills with knowledge of ITIL, Agile methodologies, and software delivery practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, including making presentations to large groups and working as a consultant or facilitator.
