Product Manager, Financial Systems
Think Together is a California nonprofit that partners with schools to change the odds for kids. Founded in 1997, Think Together operates the greatest number of expanded learning programs across California, serving ~100K students, and is home to a suite of additional programs that aim to drive systemic change across California's public-school systems.
JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Systems Product Manager at Think Together is a key role within the Business Systems team, reporting to the Director of Business Systems Services. This position is responsible for supporting, managing, and optimizing financial systems, ensuring its seamless integration with other business platforms, and leveraging NetSuite's capabilities to support financial processes and organizational goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage and optimize financial systems, including configuration, customization, and maintenance. • Manage the feature request back-log for the Financial Systems • Engage with the Financial Systems Steering Committee to set priorities and align to organizational objectives • Lead cross-functional teams through implementation projects, product upgrades, systems integrations, and enhancements. • Collaborate with the Business Systems team to integrate NetSuite with other organizational platforms like Salesforce and ADP. • Gather and document business requirements for financial system related initiatives, working closely with finance stakeholders and the Business Systems team. • Develop functional and technical design documents for financial processes and customizations. • Analyze current financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness. • Provide technical support and training to finance staff and other users. • Ensure financial system configurations adhere to accounting principles, financial regulations, and organizational policies. • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with security and compliance requirements.
* Develop and maintain reports, saved searches, and dashboards to support financial analysis and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in NetSuite administration, implementation, or consulting roles. • Strong knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and ERP systems. • NetSuite certifications are highly desirable. • Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.• Understanding of system integration methodologies and experience with API management. • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to both IT and finance stakeholders. • Experience in change management and user adoption strategies for ERP systems. • This role requires a blend of technical expertise in NetSuite and a deep understanding of financial processes within an IT context. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between finance operations and technology, driving efficiency and innovation in our financial management practices while working closely with both IT and finance departments.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: • Must adhere to all policies and procedure of Think Together • Exceptional attention to detail. • Strong facilitation and project management skills • Ability to carry out assignments independently with good time management skills • Interest in taking on new initiatives • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time to completion on a timely basis • Must maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality COMPUTER SKILLS: • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Adobe • File Management (One Drive, Box, Dropbox, etc.)

COMPENSATION:
* Salary Range $115,000-$125,000
This is the targeted compensation for the position. A range of factors, including but not limited to; location, skills, experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
