About the Project - We are seeking a Product Manager with relevant experience in overseeing the development and maintenance of software products related to Transportation, such as ticketing systems, validators, and automatic vending machines.

About the Role - The primary responsibilities will include defining what success means for the product, leading the product team to turn the product vision into reality, serving as the liaison between current and prospective customers and the product team regarding requirements management, and ensuring that the delivered solutions align with customer expectations while preserving the product's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assess competitor offerings and seek opportunities for the product differentiation
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
• Manage the software product roadmap and coordinate the team to meet the product releasing milestones
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and explain requirements as well as impact and solution(s)
• Assist the product support team with escalation and business requirements
• Deliver information and analysis for decision making
• Identify trends or issues and determine improved recommendations/specifications
• Coordinate the development and delivery of training material for the product

Qualifications

• Graduate in significant field
• 5+ years work experience as business analyst, solution architect or technical presales
• 3+ years related field work experience as software product manager
• High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
• Experience in quoting/offering solutions based on the managed software products
• Excellent writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Oversee the entire product development process
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies

Nice to have

• Experience in transportation system implementation
• SQL / data modeling knowledge
• CBAP certification or a similar business analysis certification

Location: Romania, Bucharest, Sector 1 (Victoriei area)

Work Schedule: 1 day WFH per week, 4 office days based on the project's progress and requirements.
