As an intern, you will work collaboratively on challenging projects with high impact during this full-time (40 hours per week) internship opportunity directly related to Gen’s business strategy in a dynamic and global environment.
We’re looking for a curious, motivated, and analytical intern looking to further their career in Product Management to join our Customer Support and Inside Sales team, supporting key initiatives across our Virtual Agent and Help Center platforms. This internship is ideal for someone who’s passionate about AI and wants hands-on experience solving real-world customer experience challenges.
As an intern, you'll work closely with the various teams to explore how AI can enhance our customer support tools and self-service options. You’ll help us research potential use cases, evaluate model options, and even build a proof of concept (POC) that could shape future product strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Explore a list of real business problems where AI could make an impact (e.g., routing, summarization, predictive insights).
- Select one or more use cases and help build a business case to support why it's worth solving.
- Research and recommend the best-fit AI/ML model or platform for the chosen use case.
- Identify the type of data required and assist in gathering and organizing it.
- Support the design and development of a prototype solution (POC) to demonstrate value.
- Present your findings and solution to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- You’re currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Interest in customer experience, virtual assistants, or AI/ML applications in a business context.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts or platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, OpenAI, Vertex AI, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong research and critical thinking skills – you’re not afraid to dive into documentation or ask questions.
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy problem-solving.
