More About The Role
Product engineers are responsible for as well as support product reconfiguration, customization, and re-engineering to meet customer requirements.
- Develop detailed component and product specifications based on general requirements and customer requests.
- Prepare order handling in the factory by providing clear specifications and necessary input in SAP.
- Develop products to meet the resulting specifications and manage projects until completion or handover to operations.
- Check the technical feasibility of proposals made by CSUs and provide feedback on alternative solutions, pricing, and lead times.
- Use and maintain CAD tools and the PLM system according to department and business standards.
- Data Management: Collect and maintain product information in the SAP database.
- Support the approval of new components and issue/control product and component change notices.
More About You
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
- Mechanical Engineering BSc/MSc Experience:
- One year of experience in manufacturing development, process engineering, or design within a factory environment is a strong asset, though not required.
- Experience in developing luminaires or similar products.
- Good knowledge of materials and production processes used in the luminaires business.
- Experience in CAD (SAP is not needed but appreciated).
