Salla is seeking an experienced and business-savvy Product Data Analytics and Business Insights Specialist to join our team. This role goes beyond running SQL queries and generating reports—we are looking for someone who can deeply understand our business, own our KPIs, and lead the charge in surfacing actionable insights to inform key strategic decisions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in metrics such as activation, retention, engagement, growth, and resurrection, and will proactively ask the right questions to guide our growth journey and help run advanced data analytics and reports to present insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Develop a thorough understanding of Salla's business objectives and KPIs across activation, retention, engagement, and growth
Gather, process, and analyze data from various sources to help inform business decisions
Continuously analyze user behavior and business performance to uncover opportunities and risks
Lead the design, creation, and delivery of advanced dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance metrics
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver analytical solutions that inform product, marketing, and operational strategies
Proactively formulate and explore hypotheses to drive business growth, leveraging behavioral and cohort analyses
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders
Establish and continuously refine frameworks for measuring and evaluating the impact of initiatives across the business
Ensure the quality and integrity of data by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies or inaccuracies
Assist in the optimization of data collection, analysis processes and improve analytical tools to enhance efficiency
Train team members on data interpretation and reporting tools
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, ideally within a SaaS and marketplace -based solutions
Deep understanding of metrics related to customer lifecycle and product growth, including activation, retention, engagement, and churn
Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or MetaBase
Strong grasp of statistical methods, data mining techniques and predictive modeling techniques
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to uncovering insights
Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
Well-organized in presenting and preparing reports for various stakeholders
A self-motivated person who demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead analytical projects end-to-end
