Job Title: Product Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Description
Join a dynamic environment as a Cybersecurity Engineer where you will assess product risks, identify controls, and create and perform tests for these controls. In addition to your technical duties, you will play an important role in mentoring and sharing knowledge with the QA team.
Responsibilities
* Assess product risks and identify necessary controls.
* Design and execute tests for cybersecurity controls.
* Mentor and share knowledge with the QA team.
Essential Skills
* 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity applied to embedded products and IoT.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
* Experience in embedded systems and IoT.
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Proficiency in Python.
* Experience with communication protocols, including low-level ones, BLE, and Wi-Fi.
Work Environment
This role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office, especially during the initial setup phase. The team operates in a fast-paced environment, focusing on critical infrastructure protection. You will be part of a team that handles real-time protection, bare metal programming, and embedded systems, with occasional interactions with Linux and DSP work. The work is essential to maintaining and protecting infrastructure, ensuring that nothing works without electricity.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $113000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
