What should you have?

• Be passionate about software product management and innovating software solutions
• Experience in (web) software development projects
• Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) software, such as Microsoft Power BI
• Ability to plan your work, work structured and meet project deadlines
• Ability to understand and recommend software use cases and workflows with a strong focus on the user experience
• Be a team player working cross-departmental with various stakeholders, such as the Research & Development Team, the UX Design Team, and Customer
• Be comfortable conducting product presentations and meetings remotely and onsite, internally and with customers
• Product Strategy Alignment - Capable of assisting in the formulation of software product strategies that align with organizational goals
• Effective Communication - Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills - Strong analytical abilities with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
• Independent and Collaborative Work Style - Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Experience in the maritime (software) industry is an added advantage
• Experience in Software UX Design Tools (e.g., Figma) and project management tools for software development (e.g., Azure DevOps) is an added advantage

What do you need to qualify?

• Higher-level degree (BSC/MSC) in Computer Science, Maritime, Engineering, or Economics
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in software product management or project management, preferably in the maritime industry / maritime tech industry
• Targeting the global maritime and offshore industries, international experience, and a solid knowledge of the maritime/software industry segments
• Experience in project management demonstrated the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, including work prioritization, resource coordination, and planning
• Experience in the application of business intelligence, such as Microsoft Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik Sense, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, Amazon Quick Sight, Looker, etc.)
• English - full professional proficiency (verbal and writing)
