What’s The Role All About?
The App Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development, enhancement, and performance optimization of Philippine Airlines' mobile application. This role ensures the app delivers seamless and engaging customer experience, aligning with the airline’s digital transformation and revenue objectives. The App Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive user engagement, conversion, and retention while ensuring the app remains competitive within the aviation industry.
The Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the Philippine Airlines mobile app.
- Align app development with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
User Experience and Customer Engagement
- Enhance the mobile app’s user experience (UX) and interface (UI) through research and feedback.
- Ensure seamless booking, check-in, and ancillary purchase experiences.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Track app performance through key analytics and user feedback.
- Drive continuous improvements through data-driven decision-making.
Feature Development and Innovation
- Lead the development and rollout of new app features to enhance user engagement.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies to improve app functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with IT, Product Team, Customer Experience, Sales and Revenue Management teams to ensure a cohesive digital experience.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, agencies, and platform partners for app development and enhancements.
App Store and Market Optimization
- Manage app store listings, ensuring optimal discoverability and download rates.
- Implement strategies to improve ratings and reviews.
Compliance and Security
- Ensure the app complies with aviation, data privacy, and cybersecurity regulations.
- Work with legal and security teams to maintain app integrity.
Reporting and Analytics
- Provide regular reports on app performance, user engagement, and revenue impact.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine features and user flows.
