The Town is seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Procurement Officer to join our skilled team in a full-time capacity.

Your new role

This role will be responsible for the Town’s procurement process to ensure that the Town’s tender and contract management program are compliant with relevant legislation.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience in Government (Local or State) procurement and contract management.
• Ability to navigate and understand the procurement legislation and Town’s policies and management practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to build a good rapport with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive working relationships.
• Ability to write complex reports, memos, and correspondence within the finance field.
• Computer proficiency and demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office products
