Procurement Analyst Financial Market Data
Organizing the contract and service management in collaboration with the investment teams for data provider e.g. Bloomberg, SIX Financial, Morningstar / Review and implementation of business and process requirements and resolving operational issues between internal and external parties / Controlling and optimizing costs and service quality of the data providers through effective budgeting and permanent management of our suppliers / Improve processes and procedures with the data providers for all market data products and provide advice and support / Management of ongoing projects with data providers and negotiating or renewing contracts / Regular reporting to the Head of Procurement, including competitor analysis, market data performance calculations, service quality comparisons, etc. / Responding to provider inquiries and planning provider audits / Planning and providing trainings on the proper use of market data / Ad-hoc projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in MLaw, Business Law or Business Administration / Knowledge of contract management at a bank or at a asset manager, data provider, consulting or Big4 / Knowledge about investment products / Experience with financial market data management or with financial tools from Bloomberg, SIX Financial Information, etc. / Knowledge in connection with the licensing and use of market data and awareness of compliance and governance issues / Experience in working with the purchasing department / Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong customer focus / Analytical, detail-orientated personality with an independent work style / IT flair and MS Office skills / German (C2/1) as well as English.
