Maybell Quantum is seeking an experienced Process Technician. Our ideal team member is a hands-on individual who has experience consistently following a set process, recording data, and contributing to equipment and workspace improvements. They are self-motivated with strong communication skills and can work well in teams and individually.   

Role: 

As a member of the production organization, you will work closely with the team to build Maybell's dilution refrigerators. You will be responsible for performing and developing the manufacturing procedures utilized throughout the production line. 

  • Utilize careful attention to detail throughout production tasks
  • Run production ovens according to process instructions
  • Operate production equipment and contribute to process development efforts 
  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting 
  • Perform electroplating on copper and stainless-steel components
  • Vacuum leak check production components
  • Track and maintain production data logs 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Associate degree in mechanical technology or equivalent  
  • 2-10 years of experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment 
  • Experience fabricating complex and/or delicate mechanical assemblies 
  • Experience operating production equipment such as ovens, presses, leak checkers, etc. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with mechanical and electrical systems  
  • Ability to interpret bill of materials, manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, and other engineering documentation 
  • Strong safety-oriented mindset 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with electroplating
  • Experience with vacuum leak checking 
  • Experience with sintering 
  • Experience in any of the following areas is beneficial: soldering, welding, tube bending, pneumatics, pumps, or valves

Base salary $30-45/hour
